Afrika kommt - Africa is coming
AFRIKA KOMMT! (AFRIKA IS COMING!) is a joint initiative by leading German companies that is aimed at capacity building among young and highly qualified professionals from Sub-Saharan Africa.
The programme consists of a 12-month stay in Germany, comprising a 9-month internship in one of the participating companies and a 3-months German language course. The practical training gives participants the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in management practices and economic, social and organisational change processes in the respective company. The skills acquired will enable them to establish networks between partners from their home companies and German companies.
